"Konokono was a beautiful resort. I really enjoyed the beauty of the bungalow beach villa we stayed in. It was my birthday and they welcomed me with a little decoration in the room which was so cute. The food was great, it definitely gave fine dining but the fixed menu for dinner was delicious. The staff were very nice and helpful. There are monkeys on site, which was cool. They also have someone you can book activities with at lobby. The beach is beautiful but close up to shore needs to be cleaned and or need to put a garbage near by so people don’t litter. The only thing i could say about this hotel is that it is a very quiet and peaceful resort. Not much amenities. So if you are looking for somewhere to just have peace and quiet then this is your place. There is no vibes here just a laid back getaway. Beatrice was very nice and the staff as well. I think it would be good for them to promote that this hotel is a tranquility hotel so that people are not caught off guard with the type of vibes they may be looking for during their stay. Nevertheless it’s a beautiful resort in Zanzibar. "

"The hotel is well staffed and are always happy to help. The hotel and accommodation is very clean and is constantly kept clean. The pools are warm and relaxing. The Masai on the beach are warm and welcoming but can be a little full on at times, but hotel security are great at moving them along if you want to be left alone. The food and entertainment are fabulous and range if all inclusive drinks are great. Spoilt for choice with restaurants and food. I never go back to the same hotel, but this is one I would consider returning back to. "

"The resort is very beautiful and staff are really friendly . Favourite chill area was the Gabi beach where we had a good view of the blue waters of the indian ocean ,good music and food. "

"We have just had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The hotel itself is huge but so tastefully done and built in a way that if you want to find quiet you can, if you want beach you can, if you want activties there are many on offer, it has something for everyone. The rooms are lovely and it is incredible to believe that you are in a country where so many people do not have power in their homes or running clean water and yet this hotel has 3 beautiful and immaculate pools, as well as numerous rooms with a swim up pool. We were fortunate to have one of these and loved it, it was so lovely. The staff need a special mention, nothing is ever too much trouble, they are just the lovliest of people and then there is the super animation team providing water aerobics, beach parties and volleyball for those who seek something to do. The hotel seems to be a destintaion in particulalry for French and Polish tourists and so there were both French and Polish speakers in the animation team, as well as English of course. This was a brilliant hotel. "
