"The house was nice and quiet. It was advertised with a view of the ocean, however the hedge was so tall it was not possible to see over it for the view. In addition, the house could use a few basic instructions on the switches, stove, washer/dryer, etc readily available, in addition it would be nice to have a few more hand towels and hooks so guests can hang them to dry. Overall the place was a solid performer, lots of room to spread out; not walkable to a town but a short curvy drive in."

"This house is incredible with all the modern finishes which would rival those of a hotel based self-catering option. The hosts were very accommodating and proactive with communicating picking up the key's double-checking sleep arrangements to make sure we were all covered. The location was beneficial, close to the Lusitania museum and nearby pub and beach, while only a short drive to Kinsale. Highly recommended. "Great 3 days at this property! The main entrance was under construction during our stay but it didn't bother us at all. The rooms have all been updated, they were very clean, all 4 adults were comfortable and felt safe. The breakfast is plentiful. The hotel is within walking distance to downtown Cork. There is very limited parking in front of the hotel, we dropped off our luggage at the hotel, parked in a downtown parking garage and walked the 10 minutes back. The only caution is that the hotel is on a hill. If you have anyone with mobility issues, this could pose a problem with the amount of walking uphill."

Loved! Perfect location.

"Elegant and charming hotel. Front desk staff, concierge, bar keep, and restaurant staff all exceptionally friendly and helpful. The only negative is the hotel parking is about 6 blocks away, and if you are arriving or departing during busy times there is no where to safely pull over to load/unload your vehicle. But parking garage safe and easy. Breakfast spectacular. "
