"Our stay was excellent. Joy and Tom were fantastic. They welcomed us and treated us as family. Joy reached out to me before our scheduled stay to keep me up to date and what to expect. She texed me when the cabin was ready and how to access the cabin and were to park. After we arrived and got settled in was out on the porch when Joy and Tom stopped by and introduced themselves. "Not a wonderful experience but not horrible. This was NOT a waterfront cabin, more like a modular home built on a dirt road. Zero amenities. No waterfront except a puddle on the dirt road. Unfinished trim. Cheaply done. Construction debris all over outside. Beds not even on frames, just old pallets. Most pictures on hotels.com are not of actual property. Great vision for the future but very misrepresented at current condition. "

"Cabin was really clean and comfortable. It doesn't look like your typical "Alaska cabin," but was recently built, everything was clean, and bed was very comfortable. It was a nice stop for us after having stayed in "rougher" cabins for the last 2 weeks. It is close to Kenai river, but not within walking distance for me. You can drive down about 1 mile down to end of road and walk in about 1/2 mile. Bonus: washer/dryer inside cabin and wi-fi"
