"The property and the pool is beautiful. i like how we can use beach chairs and towels for no charge but was surprised we had to pay for a yoga class. Also i didn’t know there was no housekeeping for guests only for owners. although we could pay a lot of money to get the room
cleaned.
Nice how they have free shaved ice or virgin drinks on different days. Love the golf cart to/from the beach. Love how close it is to Hanelei.
Overall it was a great stay."
"all was excellent as noted with t he exception of checkin. our room was not ready and it would have been more excellent customer service to have been 0ffered a bit of compensation."
"Check in process needs improved. Room should have been ready at 3 but it wasn't. So after 4 I asked again and they were able to put us in a different room (same type) that was ready. I'm not sure why they didn't do this in the first place. Also, right at prime check in time between 3-4 pm, 2 out of the 3 front desk workers left/went on break leaving Grace alone. This happened on both check in day and check out day which are the only two times I went to the front desk. She kept a smile among the very long line. I felt bad for her. Also there was a lot of garbage and towels left by the pool area unfortunately from messy guests. One day, the workers went home and plates of food were just left at the pool chairs and never picked up. I picked up trash around the pool area hoping it would not blow into the ocean.
Overall, the property is very nice and I would stay there again, but definitely pack your patience for the front desk and don't expect your room to be ready on time."
"We really loved our stay here. Smaller resort but we liked how it was a bit smaller. Beautiful view of the ocean, AMAZING food. Loved the bar, restaurant and the spa. Would highly recommend."
"This property is very enjoyable if you like unique historical cabins. The cabins are very old and remind you of times gone by.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. This side of the island is dry so it's the area to go to if you don't like rain. The wrap around deck, kitchen and the A/C are all nice amenities. The grounds are well kept up as well. We will stay there again if we get to go back to Kauai. Enjoy the Mangos that have fallen from the trees on the property."
"We were upgraded to a partial oceanviewroom from the one webooked. Beautiful condo, 1 bedroom. Very nice. Not much beach, but large lawn area for watching surf. Property could have put a kid AND an adult pool close to thebeach area so one doesnt have to go across street to use the pool"
"Staff was great at check in - friendly and personable. Room was ready earlier at 3pm so we were able to rest. Great location, close to tennis & golf club house. We walked in the evenings after dinner. The wind flow was great in the unit - we opened all windows, even at night. The only no so good thing is there's no door to the toilet in one of the bathrooms. It was a wide open bedroom, with sink, shower & toilet that has no door for privacy. The shower is also open which splashed water onto the floor, in front of sink. Need a door to toilet for privacy - even though we were husband & wife sharing room, I would still like to have a door. That was the only drawback of the unit."
"I have stayed here several other times. The location is great. The condos are nice. There was a policy change to only one towel per person, which is inconvenient because the place to get a new towel is open 8:30 am - 5 pm at one location in a large property, so you have to plan getting a towel into your schedule. The description was "ocean view" but since it was on the first floor, there wasn't much of an ocean view, so I was disappointed. Otherwise, the condo was in great condition, decorated nicely, and had chairs, snorkles, coolers, and boogie boards."
