"What a truly great experience. Having been in Keene Valley in the same house 50 years ago, it was a pleasure to see it being cared for and run and such a beautiful way. Kelly, the manager, couldn’t have been More delightful. Preparing breakfast and always there for questions or advice on where to go out to dinner or tge next mountain to climb.. The hotel is across the street from the mountain and is a great base camp, especially when you’re skiing with kids and have a lot to prep/do to get ready! We were here during a very large snow storm and the driveway was plowed and accessible even with the constant snow dumping! Highly recommend if you are looking for a nice base camp away and will spending most of your time outdoors. Beautiful view of the mountain! "
