"Good breakfast spread, enjoyed stay with kids, one point to note, although it’s close to shops and restaurants, it’s on a hill and quite a steep one, so take note. Situated between both kata beach, 5-10 walk from hotel and Karon beach which is slightly further and probably best get a shuttle from hotel"

"It an average hotel. The location is unbeatable though. It is very close to Kata and Karin beaches. Very walkable to all the local restaurants and shops. "

"A really beautiful hotel, we were only here for two nights and were mostly out so we didn’t get to experience it too much but I would recommend if you’re staying in the area. The food in the restaurant was fantastic. Only downsides were the unexpected cash deposit on arrival (1,000 THB per night) and the fact that when we checked out early and left our luggage the staff said we couldn’t wait in the lobby which seemed a bit rude!"

"The swim up pool was great, but whole kata area is really crowded and you need to get through busy street to get to the beach. As cleanness goes Kids Club was quite dirty and baby chair saw better time so paint was peeling off. Otherwise room and pools were nice and clean. One another issue was door to pool did not close properly and was probably open for long before we came since when we arrived room was already full of mosquitoes "

"Well located good hotel with spacious rooms and a nice swimming pool near Kata beach. The staff was accommodating after an initial mix up in the choice of beds. The bathroom was pretty good too, with both a bathtub and shower. Maybe it could have been litten up a bit better. Well located to access the beach, restaurants or the Kata Walking Street for food in the evening a bit further North of the hotel. Overall a very good short stay in this hotel"

"Amazing hotel!! Super clean, Right on the beach with nice pools, the staff was soooo great, especially the sweet girl at the front desk, Walaporn :) The buffet breakfast was also really good. Highly recommend this place "

"This place was amazing! The lobby and the room were so beautiful and clean. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. They knew we would miss breakfast one day, so they made us breakfast boxes to go. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and had many options. We also ordered dinner twice from the hotel restaurant and both times they were so delicious. I will recommend this place to everyone! "

"The property was very quiet even though it is on a main street. However it is set a long way back so in our room there was no traffic noise. Breakfast offered a good selection of foods but some different cereal would have been nice not just the same 2 choice every day. The breakfast room was VERY HOT. "We rented the villa with 4 bedrooms and pool. I traveled with my husband and 2 kids We had plenty of space. I felt very safe when walking around at night alone or with my kids. "**Second Time’s the Charm at The Yama Hotel!** As a single dad traveling with my two young teen sons, finding a comfortable and family-friendly hotel is always a priority, and The Yama Hotel has delivered on both our visits! From the warm welcome at check-in to the excellent service at the restaurant and pool bar, every aspect of our stay was a pleasure. Our room was spacious and well-appointed, featuring a cozy bathtub and a large rain shower in the bathroom. It came with all the standard amenities, like coffee and tea, two complimentary water bottles daily, and quality toiletries. While the hotel isn’t directly on the beach, the views more than made up for it—we had a stunning combination of ocean and jungle scenery. The AC kept us cool, the Wi-Fi worked flawlessly, and though we didn’t watch much TV, the cable channels were a nice touch. The included breakfast buffet was perfect for us. My sons and I aren’t picky eaters, and we loved the variety, from classic breakfast staples to local dishes, fresh fruits, a salad bar, refreshing juices, and a variety of coffee drinks to start the day right. The friendly and attentive restaurant staff made every meal even more enjoyable. Additionally, the hotel provided a shuttle bus to Kata Beach, which was incredibly convenient and made it easy for us to enjoy the sand and sea. I would recommend The Yama Hotel to anyone, whether traveling with kids, as a couple, or even solo. We’re already looking forward to our next stay"
