Pools excellent, relaxing places to lounge, complimentary yoga and bikes. Food exceptional. Extremely rude service almost daily at hostess ...

Beautiful beach and people
This was a beautiful part of the island with very nice beaches but it was not close to any rdecent shopping or restaurants other than a couple at the resort of which one was good The Meridia and the beach restaurant that was terrible.
Mauna Kea hotel best locale to see Manta Reys, Kahalu’u Beach Park sure place for excellent snorkling
Windy
The food is limited, average at best, and expensive. The white plastic umbrellas at the pools are locked down and cannot be adjusted. The heavy lounge chairs have limited movement. So the pool chairs are basically worthless.
If you’re going to the big island DEFINITELY rent a jeep. The island is very large and to see all the local spots and really get a feel you have to be able to drive yourself. Expedia saved us hundreds on our car rental.
