The main square is nice, but venture into the maze of the souks too.

Watching the sunset from a terrace that overlooks the square is worthwhile. Many don't serve alcohol so make sure to ask. Also, ask the price before you go up as. It is worth having dinner there one of the nights. The stalls are aggressive so if you don't enjoy the banter then just choose one *(we ate at 14 and it was great). If you are buying items I do feel that if you get them for about 25% of what they initially ask for then it is reasonable. Avoid the snakes and monkies as it doesn't seem as if they treat the animals too well. The pollution can get bad if there is no rain.

A must at sunset and appreciate the transformation as the call to prayer changes the activity, recommend observing the sunset from one of the elevated restaurants vantage points the look onto the square

Since this was our first visit, we did extensive research about shopping and bargaining in the Medina that proved to be very useful.

The Times Square of Marrakech- enjoy the fun but be careful of people who want to sell you things, henna ladies will just grab you and start, people will come up and touch you for pictures, have fun but be careful.
