This hotel is very close to SFO. It was very clean and a nice place to stay before taking an early flight. It was safe and quiet with parking close to your room. We enjoyed watching planes coming and going from SFO and they had a place to walk along the bay. Would definitely stay again.

While the hotel is not in the safest part of SF, I never felt unsafe and it is certainly a great central location with access to all the tourist spots you want to visit. As with all big cities, keep your head up and whits about you while walking around. The staff at Phoenix were amazing! Super accommodating and so welcoming. Shout out especially to James. My only “complaint” is wishing there was a mini fridge in the room. We had some amazing meals with leftovers I would have liked to enjoy. My guess is it has to do with electrical capacity given the age of the property as a renovated retro hotel. Overall it was great, and I would definitely stay there again.

Staff was friendly, room was small but clean and comfortable. There were homeless people close to the hotel but we still felt comfortable to walk to Oracle Park.
