"I read all the reviews before booking this place. Condition, comfort, etc seemed just fine, but almost everyone raved over the customer service. Now I know why. "Though the property is dated and could use some upgrades, the owners keep it very clean and do room freshen ups daily. The beds were comfortable and the linens were in good shape. "Our booking was canceled and we were not notified in advance. We were 4 hours away from home, small town, middle of the night and no other hotels were available. I was up for 27 hours straight and had to drive back because nothing else was available. They said the hotel was overbooked and we should have been notified as they knew this days in advance.
