It was a very plain and generic property. But, very clean.
The best part was the desk staff. They were 2 young girls, very friendly, very sweet and just fantastic. They are why we extended a couple extra days. The place was an extended stay. On our floor there were people staying in 2 rooms on either side of us that were together.
Our room was really stale smelling. Like old feet. We couldn't figure it out, but it was pot from the other rooms. Once we figured that our and used a travel candle to help with the smell, it was much better.
This hotel is like, we said, Very clean. Price was fantastic. Close to the main street and walking distance to a fantastic little Italian restaurant that was recommended to us by the desk staff. Excellent choice! We ate there twice!
It ended up being a 1/2 hour from where we spent most of our time. But, the drive wasn't bad and due to the hurricane, there were very limited places to stay.
It wasn't fancy.
Our bed was almost on the floor. It was really, really low.
Sheets and blankets were just standard cheaper hotel/motel type. Towels were as well.
Good amount of television choices.
No breakfast, but they did have a kitchenette and we bought OJ and muffins for morning.
But, really, the 2 cute girls at the front were the best part! They were fantastic.
We would stay again if we were in the area. The price is great.
