The proximity to Cooperstown worked very well for us, as did the ability to fish right across the street from the property - my son and I spent a good deal of time casting from the docks. "Room was perfect. Newly renovated. Only criticism is we were on the first floor at the end of the hallway and heard the loud clicking of the door every time someone went in/out of the building. There was a lot of morning activity. More attention should be paid to noise created with doors opening/closing. "
