"I love the staff at the hotel, the manager was engaged with patrons and his staff worked hard at ensuring needs were met. I would stay there and recommend. I think the in house breakfast could do with some innovation, especially for vegetarians and others with food sensitivities. Additionally, more staff should at least be able to speak english to non portuguese speakers. Overall, I enjoyed my stay there."

Furious to find the laundry we got done here with the service which was a half a sack as we are on the road for a few weeks was not even dry let alone folded, half wet and half dry just thrown into the bag. "The hotel was clean if a little tired. The staff were great. All very friendly and welcoming, we enjoyed an evening at the pool bar which was lively. Salvador is a great place and this hotel provides a Great base to explore it. Only a short walk to the beach or a stroll to the light house or a quick taxi in to town. PS if your a bit on the large size like myself it’s a bit of a squeeze getting through the shower door. "
