「Booked superior seaview room and seaview window is at toilet which is higher than normal people eye level. Double check if breakfast is included in the booking in hotels.com as the website offer two breakfast option with different price which is a bit confusing. Tried to contact hotel to confirm via booking website and official hotel email address a few time but no luck.」

「Nice place. Looked just like the pictures. Good size rooms. Breakfast and breakfast area was also very good. Hotel is just by the old quarters of Stone town. Almost all staff was very friendly (just one younger lady in reception that for some reason was not so nice to our daughter). Good price.」

「Had a room at the very top of the building but good exercise with concrete steps. Room very pleasant. Good AC and kettle/coffee/tea in room. Breakfast included in room price very good. Prices for other meals expensive but lots of options within walking distance. Boutique attached to hotel. Overall convenient, clean and comfortable with pleasant and accommodating staff for a short stay in Stone Town. 」

「Shoki Shoki House, Stone Town – Great Location but Noisy Night We stayed one night at Shoki Shoki House in Room 1 (Deluxe Double, Ground Floor) to explore Stone Town before heading to Jambiani. On arrival, we had to wait 20 minutes to check in as the room had just been sprayed for mosquitos. The reception staff were friendly, and the room was clean but basic, with a complimentary minibar as a nice touch. The biggest issue was noise at 3 AM, with loud banging and moving sounds outside our room,...

「I loved the charm of the old building. Breakfast was included and was very good. The famous Lukmaan restaurant is right around the corner. There is a mosque across the alley, so you will hear the call to prayer unless you’re a heavy sleeper. There is also street noise but it usually gets quieter the later it gets. There is no parking. Make sure the taxi driver points out the building because it’s very nondescript. Overall a great place to stay. 」

「Perhaps there are better rooms, but our room ( nadia) is very noisy throughout our stay. Not just u could hear people shouting and chirldren playing and car horns, but the worst is that there are some sort of aircon machines right outside yr window so u can also hear the engine sound. There are too many more quiet but equally convenient boutique hotels in Stonetown but since we had already paid so we could not change hotel. DONT TRUST THE COMMENTS ANY MORE FROM HOTELS.COM! (P.S. 「Väldigt bra service, framförallt av Roboni som hjälpte oss med att boka taxi och utflykter till ett bra pris. Frukosten stor men något ensidig, inte den bästa. Det serveras inte alkohol i restaurangen men helt ok mat. Väldigt gott om solstolar, två pooler och ligger precis på stranden. Lugnt och fridfullt trots att det ligger mitt i smeten.」
