「Clean remodeled room with tile flooring, with microwave and fridge. I did not see an iron or ironing board, but that was ok for one night. Great deal for lodging and parking while cruising for 9 days. If you are looking for a budget-friendly place, this is it. They offer transportation arrangement with a third party to the port, you sign in upon check in, and they will pick you up and take you to your cruise very affordable. 」

「Wingate is located at the Galveston beach front and beach is easily accessibe and the property is very close to the Pier. Hotel room was clean and suited for the family stay. There is an additional parking fee which I did not notice at the time of booking. 」

「Absolutely beautiful and well run property with friendly helpful staff; however, the Monarch restaurant service and food quality is significantly below the quality of the hotel. We stayed there in hopes of not having to leave the hotel for a fully wonderful evening. Restaurant was very disappointing, so we left and drove to another restaurant for dinner. 」

「Hotel is very nice and beautiful. Great lobby with good light colors. Decorations in lobby are very nice. Our room was big and very cozy with good furniture arrangements.
