"John was the penultimate host: friendly, smart, gracious and helpful. The house is well-lit, beautifully designed and supremely comfortable. Spotless and thoughtfully laid out. "Stayed overnight at the Longleaf and loved it. The rooms are immaculately clean. Kudos to housekeeping. The beds and linens so comfy. Love the retro style. The lounge is cozy with nice cocktails, and we loved the patio to enjoy drinks and coffee outside. Lauren at the front desk was very helpful and welcoming. "The hotel was ideally located, but a bit dated. One of the two elevators did not operate, which was a challenge as I along with many others were in town for the NCAA basketball tournaments.
