"Still remodeling but I would definitely stay again when im in the area. I loved that there was food options within walking distance of my room. Would have like the area next to the hotel to have been alittle cleaner but with the remodel I would expect some random debris "

"This was our first, and definitely not the last, time staying at The 1857. We were in town for a concert at the Carson Center and HIGHLY recommend this hotel. It is literally just across the street from the venue! And the hotel rain shower...I don't know how we didn't use up all the hot water in the hotel because the shower itself was a spa experience. Kudos for the high-end shampoo, conditioner, and soap! Overall, I have zero complaints about The 1857."

"A wonderful find! The property grounds are stunning, the lodge is lovely, warm and welcoming! The pool is regulation and the perfect temperature! Every detail is well-maintained, beautifully clean, comfortable beds. I've not enjoyed a stay this much in ages. And, the price can't be beat for the quality. I hope i get to return one day..."
