"Rooms were a pleasant surprise. This place doesn’t look too promising from the outside but the room was very nice. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Terry helped us several times and seemed to want to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. Would definitely choose to stay here again. It’s just minutes from the beach. I liked the chairs in front of each room. Could sit outside with my coffee in the morning."

"The desk personnel were all friendly and helpful. I was not prepared for the CASH only deposit of $50. The expedia listing said $100 but nothing about cash only. It was only a slight inconvenience but we were exhausted when we checked in. Other than that, all was well."

"My favorite place to stay. Its an older hotel. Its very clean, updated, has comfortable beds which ia a guge issue for me. All you need to bring is your personal items. They have a kurig with pods and creamer sugar etc. Fridge and microwave in room. Ice and small vending down the walkway. Sunsets are gorgeous. On a marina with restaurants on both sides of hotel, plenty of other restaurants close by. Its not the ritz carlton, but its very decent and with usually a very decent price. "

"I enjoyed the stay I was at this location 3 days . it was quiet for the most part. I only have one complaint. Bed sheets and pillow cases. They are not being discarded once they are stained - I can literally see the brown discoloration from a persons body because the motel staff is either using cheap bleach (instead of CLOROX) or NOT rotating their inventory properly. Meaning “out with the old, in with the new.” ANY tainted Discoloration on a bed sheet screams somebody’s skin cells and secreted...

"I don't know whose fault it was… But I specifically selected this hotel to use the swimming pool. When I got there, there was a sign-up saying it was closed for the season. I'm not sure if it's Hotels.com fault or the hotel itself. "

"Hampton are always clean and well maintained, so I’m always confident when booking. This one had a great breakfast area and breakfast each day, very friendly staff and the location is excellent. I didn’t know it until we arrived, but guest are actually able to use the Hampton’s pools (on the smaller side but EXCELLENT for parents with smaller children who need the best sightline if they are not actually in the pool with the child) as well as the 4-5 hotels beside it, (as long as you have your hotel wrist band) which have elaborate lazy river style pools, resort like chairs/umbrellas, etc and poolside bars…very nice surprise! The beach access is very easy and the stretch of shoreline is really beautiful in this location. Housekeeping was supposed to pop in every other day, but didn’t come at all during our 4 night stay but the front desk was fully stocked with towels and wash cloths, etc. if you stopped by to ask. We were there as a family with school aged children and appreciated the atmosphere and professionalism of the staff. Maybe they do this all year (we were there for our spring break), but were especially surprised by a few of the perks during our stay (had a dj by the pool one day and a hair braiding/henna artist in the lobby another (for a fee))- my daughter loved that! This is a GREAT location, very nice hotel, reasonably priced- wry glad we stayed with this Hampton."
