I liked the coffee maker with K cups in the room. Would have been nice to have some tea bags . The front desk person was very nice but he talked a little too fast for an old man hard of hearing to keep up. Very patient having to repeat himself.

I didn't get to stay at this property. My plans changed and I tried to re-book my stay to the following weekend. I tried to change it at 1 pm and was told the cut-off is noon (even though property allows to 4 pm] and I would be charged for both weekends. The hotel was happy to change it, but Expedia wouldn't let them. Expedia has set it up so there is no way to contact a customer service rep, the only option is a virtual assistant that does nothing helpful. Expedia's little game to force customers to buy travel insurance by changing the cancellation time from noon to 3 or 4 pm is tacky. I've used Expedia since they started and there are too many better options for travel than a company that cares little about customer satisfaction or customer friendly policies.

The room was clean and well maintained. We loved the bed and the large pillows. Breakfast was the normal eggs, sausage and waffles. We will definitely stay there again.

One of the few places in Green River that accepts dogs, and is not a complete roach shack - so props to them on that part. Staff were nice and helpful. Rooms were clean, but pretty basic. The bed and pillows were about average, comfort-wise. AC and fan unit was noisy, as usual for a place like this. The worst part of the stay was probably Green River itself. Not much going on, especially for dining options. It's a typical pass-through oil country western town. But, overall, it was clean and good for a single night stay. Also a decent value @ about $90 per night.

The Swell is a welcoming little oasis in a frontier area. The rooms are clean and the staff friendly and eager to please. I stayed two nights a week apart and will return again if the opportunity presents.

So I drove all the way down to Moab and when I got down there, I went on Expedia to look up a hotel while I was browsing through prices and I found this place and I guess without even thinking I booked it because I was searching in Moab and I go to find out after I book it that it’s actually located 50 minutes away from Moab. So the fact that this hotel is listed in Moab is messed up in the first place then I get there because I couldn’t cancel and there’s literally only one place to eat and it was about to close at 9 o’clock and there’s nothing else to do in the area. There’s just a couple gas stations so then we stay the night one night we go out to do our thing in Moab, which was 50 minutes away we come back only that the power in the entire hotel is off and they don’t have a back up generator like normal hotels so everything is black. The elevators don’t work there’s no lights in the hallway. Nothing the whole hotel is shut down so just being irritated by the entire situation. I just left a day early because it was not the experience I was looking for and I would never stay there again. What hotel does not have a back up generator in case the power goes out that’s like standard 1 oh one also why do they advertise for Moab when they’re 50 minutes away they’re clearly not in Moab. Everything about the hotel was inconvenient. Also, the breakfast was basically just carbs, crappy old bagels, crappy tiny, super hard muffins everything was gross.

For the price, the property was great! There were a few things to note that pushed for a lower rating, and that was how run-down the hotel was. The carpets near the elevator were torn up, carpets also had these weird divets in them, almost like holes in the floors. The tiles in our bathroom were also loose and popping up. The bed was also SO stiff. However, there was a breakfast every day, and the staff was so very nice!
