"I loved that the hotel was smack dab in the middle of Old San Juan. The architecture and cultural vibe of the hotel was very authentic. The hotel had everything I needed. As a solo traveler I was safe and secure. My room, the classic queen, was small, perfect for one, would’ve been a bit tight with two. Outlets were sparse (as expected in a building several hundred years old) and the Flat screen TV didn’t work great. Staff was friendly and welcoming *****."

"Small boutique hotel. Very ckean, great staff, and very peaceful. Very relaxing, dibing limited, used uber type delivery for food. Rooms were big and comfortable. "

"this is an old hotel that has been restored several times. As such, it is NOT a resort like you would get in "new" San Juan. What it doesn't have in bells and whistles it makes up for in warmth and charm. The staff go above and beyond, the location is unbeatable, and the old world ambiance makes for a wonderful stay. My only word of caution is do not drive to the hotel as there is no dedicated parking, and especially on weekends, parking can be a challenge. Will definitely stay there again!"

"We had communicated to the hotel on 2 separate occasions concerning our late arrival time which was to be about12:30 am. I was assured that someone would be there to check us in. Our taxi dropped us off on a very dark and deserted street and the door to the hotel was locked, we rang the doorbell and phoned several times but no response. We made our way up the cobbled street to another hotel, they were full but the desk clerk found us a room in another hotel and helped us get there. The next...

"The hotel was beautiful. Room was beautiful. Bartenders were great, waitresses were great. My only issue I had was the young lady at the front desk. Her name was something... Ann I don't recall. But boy did she have a bad attitude. From check in to check out her attitude was terrible. She almost ruined an otherwise perfect stay. "
