"Only a couple things to complain about- the vending machines weren’t working or full and parking was definitely not easy when you go during prime snowmobile season! Overall it was a beautiful place. Met lots of new people and the staff were great and willing to work with us when we had to leave early. We would definitely stay here again probably when it’s a little warmer!"

"Solbakkon has kept the old school feel of the lake resort. We stayed in the motel part that was pet friendly. The room was dated, but expected. Everything was clean. A small kitchenette and dishes where perfect for breakfast. Walking around the property was beautiful. And the lodge was great with games and hang out space. The staff was friendly, even sweet treats offered!! We also stayed warm and comfortable in negative degrees."

"We did not plan anything and found a room on Hotels.com the afternoon of the stay. Loved that there was good food and drink next door - huge value add. Staying 10 min away from skiing was not a big deal. We will definitely return. "
