I really loved that I could walk out of my cabin and then see the grandiose view of the Grand Canyon a few feet from my door. There were many places to eat here. The female elk were plentiful and very photogenic. It was wonderful to meet so many different people from all parts of the world. Everyone was extremely friendly. Best part was coming off the day long hike down and up the canyon and just having to walk approximately 100 ft to my cabin from trail head.

La struttura si affaccia direttamente sul canyon, il panorama è incredibile. L'hotel offre tutti i servizi, dispone di un bar e di un ristorante molto accoglienti; c è anche un negozio/ caffetteria per pasti più veloci da asporto. Le camere sono casette singole con tutti i comfort, disposte vicino ai parcheggi ed a pochi metri dal canyon e dai percorsi di trekking. È stato incredibile vedere l' alba ed il tramonto. Consigliatissimo

What a absolutely amazing place to stay , we had a rim cottage , which was spacious , comfy beds , great bathroom and a view of the canyon through the window and a 5 sec walk to be sat looking out over it , we had breakfast at the angel lodge which was delicious and Todd our server was super helpful , and the oatmeal bowl is delicious We ate at El Torvar for dinner which is a short walk and definitely worth the experience , ideal to do the rim trail , we walked and caught the bus back , which a superb service in the area

It was unseasonably cold while I was there for this time of year and I was in one of the cabins in the "Village.", While the cabin itself has been upgraded very nicely, its one electric heater worked non-stop but still could not overcome the cold air coming in through the closed windows. I had to wear several layers of clothes even while inside. The Park would do well to upgrade the windows in those cabins as soon as they can afford to.

Es ist ein besonderes Erlebnis so Nahe (20 Meter) vom Grand Canyon zu übernachten. Die Zimmer waren sauber und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Das eigene Bad war sehr gut. Leider war das Bett ziemlich gewöhnungsbedürftig. Inakzeptabel war allerdings der unglaublich laute und vollkommen unnötige Eiswürfel-Automat mitten im Powell Gebäude. Zu allen Zeiten - auch mitten in der Nacht - wurden offenbar Eiswürfel benötigt. Dadurch sind wir jedes Mal aufgewacht. Die Wände zu den Nachbarzimmern sind so dünn, dass man (leider) alles hören kann! Ebenfalls sollte überdacht werden, ob man die Parkplätze für die Hotelgäste reserviert. Diese stehen jedem zur Verfügung, obwohl sie direkt bei den Hütten sind. Wir waren zweimal im Restaurant essen, was sehr zu empfehlen ist.

Couldn’t ask for a better location, right in Grand Canyon Village. Very short walk to incredible views and the Rim (walking) Trail. Easy to star gaze at night. Restaurant a short walk away (open late) for dinner after a long day of exploring. Shopping and grab-n-go food close by. Easy access to shuttles to take you around the park. Historic Cabin is so cute and very well appointed - nothing fancy but clean and comfortable.

The rooms were joined with only a locked door separating them. Could hear peoples conversations quite clearly. We were also by an entry and exit door which caused alot of banging and noise. Not a bad place to stay for a day or two but would not recommend extended stay there.
