"You need to make your dinner reservations before you arrive or the moment you get there, they fill up fast. Beds are not super comfortable and the hot water was hit or miss in our building. The staff and entertainment crew were fantastic and made our trip very enjoyable. Lots of kids, but the entertainment crew made them feel welcome and the rest of us still had a great time. "

"Place was roomy, and pretty clean. But, there was not regular linen service(change of sheets or bed making/turning). Beach sand was fluffy and amazing. Staff were very friendly and attentive. They do need to update the shuffleboard. Pucks were broke and mismatched. And the poles were broke from wear and tear. But, we made it work.😃 Ping pong table and equipment were excellent (better than was shown on website). We had a great time, and recommend for a relaxing vacation.👍"

"I really wish it was a better experience. The rooms were not up to par. We had to switch rooms 2 times because of issues. First room the shower didn’t work. Second room the ac was broken. Third room didn’t even lock properly or have a working bathtub but we decided twice was enough and we would just take our chances. The front desk totally screwed up my reservation and charged me twice. I still have not been refunded but hopefully will in the near future. Otherwise Harold’s wonderful smile kept...

"The stay at Mrs. Doris' Ocean Pearl was wonderful. The cable was out in the room and the water went out the first day, but those were both beyond the hotel's control. Mrs. Doris was absolutely wonderful and was extremely accommodating. This is the perfect destination for those looking to get away from the world and slow down. Go visit Bishop next door and be sure to order the Crack Conch Dinner in the Ocean Peal kitchen."
