The tiny anomalies about accommodations are sometimes the ones that leave the most lasting impression. In this case, it was the shower. Yes, the shower itself worked. But since the shower faucet handle was not screwed to the shower (it came away readily), it also meant having to adjust the temperature with each use. We wrapped things up at the courthouse much earlier than we had anticipated, called The Hoxton to see if we could check-in early and to our amaze, they allowed us to! "Extremely helpful staff. Rooms are clean. Great neighborhood. The only drawbacks are that there is no on street parking overnight without a permit and the beds are hard. For a short stay, you can't beat the price. I would definitely stay there again."
