"The owners of the ryokan were very accommodating, kind & helpful. The room is big & adequate. Excellent breakfast. The only minus is that there is limited transpo to the inn. And there are no stores or restaurants near the inn. So you need to eat dinner in another village or bring food home."

"This hotel was dirty!! We were expecting old as we wanted to keep costs down and rayes were low. I have stayed in many APA hotels across Japan and they are fine. But this one was filthy. We had booked 4 nights but after one night cancelled and changed to another hotel. Beds were actually decent in condition (APA Kyoto had beds made out of cardboard) but mold and dust, dirty everywhere in room. Can’t recommend it here. Plenty of nice hotels in Kanazawa."

"This is a good hotel option. It a 5 minute walk from the train station. It’s in a quiet more office like area. It is a drive or longer walk to the historic areas of Kanazawa so we just took a taxi. The hotel offers a breakfast buffet at a cost which had both western and Japanese options and was good. They have laundry facilities on site for a good price and the room was clean, bed was comfy. Front desk staff were kind and helpful. Would stay again. "
