Independent Gibbon Glade hotels

"Our accomodations were adaquate. Everyting in the room was outdated including the bedding, however the room was very clean, and other family members stayed elsewhere in more updated hotels and ran into unsavory conditions. So we were very pleased with the cleanliness of the room. The Elevator of doom... please get that fixed. But the Staff were fabulous, friendly and very accomodating the breakfast was good and the drink choices were great. Now as for restaraunts near by, we went to the one...

"Absolutely stunning location, full of beauty. Close to major roads but feels quiet and secluded. We will definitely visit again in-season but this is a phenomenal spot to stay for a day or two when traveling from the Midwest to the Northeast. "

"Awesome experience! We originally chose the cabin-like motel due to its location while visiting family. However, we quickly fell in love with the cabin which included a kitchen/dining room and living room. All rooms, including the two bedrooms, had ample space and was very cozy. We arrived just after Christmas and the living room contained a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. The cleaning crew was very friendly and helpful and the resident cat “Luna” entertained our grand-daughter for hours....

"We stayed for one night during our anniversary weekend and had dinner in the hotel restaurant. Our dinners were unique to the restaurant and really delicious. The staff were all wonderful and welcoming, the room was clean and had what we needed. The history of the hotel is neat so if you like staying in places with a little history to it, this is definitely the place. "

"This is a major construction site. Most of this property is gutted. There were no employees on the property as we check in and no breakfast as promised. There is heat, hot water, clean sheets and towels. There were three other guest vehicles in the lot. "
