After a hard day sightseeing and shopping you can relax in a very friendly bar being run by “Frankie”. He has a wealth of local knowledge and a very competent photographer. "This hotel is in a great location overlooking a square that is adjacent to the main market square. Anything you might want to visit in Brugge is a few minutes walk away. The hotel also has its own underground car park. You have to pay to use the car park, but it is convenient and safe."

Beautifully appointed and decorated, the rooms were extremely comfortable and I appreciated all the little touches like the L’Occitan toiletries and the coffee maker. I had mentioned that this was a birthday trip for me, and they not only accommodated my request for a room with a view over the canal, but also had a little treat waiting for me. We enjoyed an evening drink in the bar, and the helpful front desk staff arranged a lovely massage in the spa area. For some reason, I didn’t book breakfast with my room rate, which was a mistake.
