Independent Fort Meade hotels

"this hotel was very convenient for our needs. We were there to see the basic DC sites, and we were less than a block – two partial blocks – to a major metro with three or four lines. We were about a 5 to 7 minute walk to the Air&Space Museum, and then the mall from there. The room was small, but the bed was comfortable, and we slept well. The staff was very helpful and congenial. I’m more traditional in my taste, but the decor was fun and modern. I enjoyed it thoroughly. I have no complaints."
