The property is ok. The check in was not good. I had received an email from Marriot earlier to check in and they said my reservation number was invalid. We did get to the hotel early and were told we could pay $50 to check in early! Then they charged $2 per bag to hold them behind the desk. Very bad practice in my opinion. I won’t do this again at a hotel in Fort Lauderdale. The plus was we could use the pool if so desired…

Had a decent stay! Everything was totally fine. Room was clean and comfortable. Airport shuttle is convenient. Lots of shops/restaurants nearby. Front desk was really firm on waiting until checkin time to allow guests to checkin even though rooms were likely ready sooner. Not every single room is only cleaned by 4pm. They could have been a bit more flexible on this to create a more exceptional experience.

Good location to shopping. Was a little disappointed 'free' airport shuttle was only every hour on the hour. Still had to take a cab. ALSO, had asked for a wake-up call the evening before, and one was never received.

The hotel itself is good for a short stay. I didn't like that the room only supplied 1 wash cloth for 2 people. It should be a standard of 4. The low star is because when I asked for extra, I waited over 2 hours with no resolution. I had to leave the room, go to the front desk and still waited about 15 minutes. The room I was in was connected to the laundry closet. The staff woke me up with loud banging 2 days in a row. Oh and no, front desk don't answer the phone when you call. They only staff the hotel with 1 front desk clerk and it was busy.
