Enjoy sunny days in the snow on the slopes of this ski resort spread across four valleys of the magnificent Spanish Pyrenees.

The Formigal Ski Resort encompasses a wide stretch of stunning slopes in Aramon, the western part of the Pyrenees on the French border. Ski or snowboard on varied slopes, from gentle beginner runs to expert-graded and freeride deep snow areas. Explore the four valleys, Tres Hombres-Sextas, Izas-Sarrios, Anayet and Portalet. Warm up between skiing sessions with a delicious cup of Spanish hot chocolate.

Enter the resort via any of the four valleys. Each entrance is equipped with gentle slopes for beginners and connections to the resort’s excellent lift systems. Rent top-of-the-line equipment if you didn’t bring your own skiing or snowboarding gear and begin exploring Formigal’s 147 runs. Formigal Ski Resort’s location means the region gets plenty of sunny days. Enjoy clear views of the beautiful Pyrenees mountain ranges from the slopes.

Book private or group lessons with the Escuela Española de Esquí and get professional tips on your skiing or boarding style. English-speaking instructors are available and can provide great local insight into the best areas on the resort to ski and snowboard. Practice jumps and freestyle tricks in the resort’s terrain park or work on your technique on the mogul run.

Let kids enjoy a fun-filled snow garden with a carpet conveyor, as well as dancing with the mascot, Skity. Watch them speed down the snow on a rented toboggan. Child care is available for kids from 4 months to 8 years old.

Find plenty to do on days when you’re not skiing. Go sledding, snowshoeing or snowbiking or simply relax on a sunny terrace and enjoy plates of tasty tapas while you watch the action. Formigal Ski Resort has a wide selection of restaurants, cafés and tapas bars for snacks between runs or après-ski relaxation.

Use the free shuttle bus connecting the four valleys to the resort’s residential village. Here, find numerous lodging options, including serviced chalets and hotels. Additional accommodations are available in the surrounding villages within the Tena Valley. Huesca-Pirineos Airport is a 90-minute drive away. Ski at Formigal between late November and early April. Explore nearby Aramon resorts with a combination ski pass.
