「Staff and public areas were excellent and very comfortable. Unfortunately the grounds are in need of TLC which is a shame. The hire of a skip for a day to remove all the rubbish and fishing debris would help. The bedroom accommodation needs a lot of paintwork and updating. I've slept in more comfortable beds in Premier Inns! Housekeeping was a bit erratic. The quality of the food at breakfast was mediocre. However it's perfect for dogs and the staff were great.」

「Second stay here - returning after a previous visit in 2018. 「After a long journey we wanted to rest on arrival at the hotel howver there was work being carried out at the next to our bedroom room 1 which was loud banging and drilling we have taken video evidence of this the noise was causing our 2 dogs to bark loudly there was also no tv in our bedroom we also sat for 20 minutes waiting to check out no one was available at the desk and we had a ferry to catch.」
