"We were here only one night, but loved our stay! First, the staff is amazingly nice and kind! The location cannot be beat! It's legit right on the lake! We walked everywhere and the rooms are great! Highly recommend and was kind of sad we didn't have longer! We made our own dinner and sat outside at the table looking at the lake! "

"Lakefront Lodge was the perfect place to stay for our stopover before heading to Milford Sound. The room was well equipped and clean. Loved the picnic tables provided by each room as well…perfect for morning tea or evening takeaway! The location was great as well with easy access to the lakefront walking/biking path and town. Would stay here again when stopping over in Te Anau!"
