「Two of my friends didn't know what kind of bite they had on them the night they stayed! Sound insulation is not good either. Anther thing that I‘d like to say is about when we checked into the room, there was only a box with little bit tissue left in the room. Late when we used some then ran out of that tissue and I went to the front desk and asked for a box, and the stuff told me to go to the restaurant across the front desk.」

「Hugo was a wonderful host. He suggested various places to visit. He made great pancakes. It was fun watching him feed the ducks. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. The house was quiet and peaceful. It's worth a return trip. 」

「Beauitiful location. Ideal if fishing, boating, etc. Not many restaurants withinin 15 minutes (a good thing for beauty and quiet). Rooms are modern, a bit atypical of small hotels like this. Well furnished. Very clean. Very comfortable. Great staff. Our door didnt quite close all the way so some extra light and noise got thru. But not a huge deal. I bookmarked the location.」

「Two comments: Staffing in the breakfast area should be able to communicate better Wasn't very helpful as she didn't speak english. Asked to put the TV on for the news had to show her what I was trying to tell her still didn't find the news. Also the floors in the area were very messy.」

「I really enjoyed the old Florida vibe here. I was surprised at the ashtrays on the tables outside each room, but we never had a neighbor so smokers weren’t a problem. The bed was great, one of the best I’ve had at a hotel. Being on/ near the lake was great for an evening wind down. There are charcoal grills available in the ‘quad’ area. Also a fire pit, pool, and several outdoor activities. The kitchen was lacking, it had the basics, but barely. If you go and plan to cook at home, pack your own...

「Sent us to our room, it had not been cleaned. Second room had black mold in shower area,walls. Could not take a shower, tub floor looked dirty also. 」

「Motel served it's purpose but that was about it. Beds were hard as rocks, may as well have slept on the floor. Found rat droppings under the beds. Had window AC that barely cooled the 300 sq ft room. Only opted to book due to how close in proximity to De Leon springs to be close enough to make it to the springs before capacity was hit on the 4th of July. If your looking for a comfy likely cleaner stay, this isn't it. 」
