「The host was more than accommodating throughout the booking, arrival and even allowing us late checkout time, which we needed because of a tour at the nearby Carara National Park. The room was beautiful with an amazing ocean view, clean and convenient with a kitchenette. We saw macaws fly by! Loved everything about Akua!」

「The place is a rental property rather than a hotel. The host Carla was very friendly and responsive. The view was amazing. However, the property could use some serious work. There were holes on the wall, stains on the couch, splashes on the kitchen window shades, mold or stains on bathroom ceiling. The bathroom sink doesn’t work.
