It was in a great location for the event I was participating in. It had a "retro" look on the outside but the rooms were fantastic. There is a great gazebo and sitting area in the middle. Parking was good and it was easy to get in and out back onto the main road. I would recommend it to anyone going to Escondido.

I thought it was a nice property and well maintained. The property managers are out walking the property often. The staff is very nice and helpful.

We stayed 2 days at this hotel. It honestly is a good budget friendly hotel. It is a very basic place to stay. The beds are ok, pillows very small. There were some stains on the sheets but not horrible ones. There is no coffee pot in room. I think the thing you need to know is the Internet here is really awful. If you need it to work forget it. It was really frustrating for me. If you need it, stay somewhere else.

We were really happy with our stay at the Motel Mediteran in Escondido. The room was spotlessly clean. I was expecting a room with 2 double beds, and was very happy to see that this was more of a 2-room suite, with one bed in the main "living" area, and the second bed in its own bedroom with closing door. I was travelling with my teenage son, and it was nice to have the privacy. The room came with a full-size fridge, microwave, and stovetop, so if we'd been staying longer, we could have cooked our own meals. The price was great. And we were close to the main shopping mall as well. Highly recommend.

Great staff of housekeepers. The front desk lady is very nice during our couple interactions from my intitial stay to extending another night. Extending got me a move from the ground floor in the back corner to a second floor room with a nice view. The maintenance man didn’t reply either time I said hi to him. He appeared to be pre occupied working on the sidewalk/parking lot. The rooms are completely new, nicely equipped and a great deal for the price! The strong metal doors doors fit the door frames and the locks work with ease. There are different beautiful scenic pictures of real places above each beds headboard. My second floor room completely different than previous ground floor room. Added lighting features. A beautiful bathroom with marble floors and shower walls. A finish on the bottom of the tub to prevent slips & falls with several handrails. The bathroom mirrors with the built in lighting in the framed edges of the rectangular mirror are the BEST for taking selfies as they remove wrinkles from one’s face! The bathroom sink faucet first I’ve seen with h & c handles & spout coming up from the marble sink counter. The tv 75” in my overnight room. Both rooms tv’s diff brands with HDMI easy hookups fo view your favorite streaming shows/movies. The 4 pillows on both beds were ample w diff fillings. The memory foam mattress and the quiet peaceful surroundings assured me instant sleep as soon as I laid down both nights and I didn’t wake until my alarm went off.

Nice lady at the front desk. This place isn’t at all like it was years ago. It’s been completely remodeled and the rooms very nice. I like the lighting under my king size bed that is motion detected! The rooms have newer refrigerators and microwaves. The bathrooms are elegant. I got moved today to upstairs with a huge panel tv on the wall. The only negative so far is parking. I went to the grocery store and got back at 7:45 p.m. Not one open parking spot left. I had to park in the street which isn’t good due to the heavy equipment & trucks across the street. The street is two lanes one north & one south that the vehicles parked in the streets make it hard for anybody to pull out of any of the businesses
