"Amazing location. 2 minites walk from the beach. Very attentive staff who are keen to ensure you have a great stay and lots of opportunities to get involved with different activites throughout the day/evening both kid and adult freindly. Bus access very easy to all parts of the island. Airport transfer very helpful both ways."

"The hotel staff are fantastic, especially the bar staff. The cleaners came every day and we very good. The hotel was lovely and quiet, not much to do, but we prefer it like that as my children have SEN needs. The only negative was the cold pool and the lift constantly breaking. "

"The location was 10/10 for views, access to the local town and it was relatively quiet. The apartment space and comfort was good and the beds were comfy. Outside space was excellent. One downside was the lack of kitchen utensils and a welcome pack of washing up liquid and a dishcloth/scourer would have been brilliant. This is a large complex split into various blocks and areas with apartments either located around the pools, stage area or away from these central areas. "Great place for families we have young children and they were totally in love with the pools as 2 are around 25cm deep so even our 16 month old Al could stand up herself. The staff were also very friendly towards the kids not worried by food on floor etc which is inevitable. "

Needs a bit of an update (curtains, bedding…) and perhaps ensuring all the apartments have everything needed for cooking (utensils). "A great location, and loved the room with the extra terrace space. The pool area was great and the food at the bar area was always delicious. All the staff were lovely and friendly, and when we had a small issue with our door lock they fixed it straight away. "Have stayed at Niu D'Aus before but not for about 9 years. Staff extremely helpful. Room very clean and comfortable. Pool very clean but not really suitable for poor swimmers as becomes quite deep very quickly. Good location in a very quiet area. "

"A lovely hotel with clean rooms. It was in a great location for the beach and centre of town. There were a variety of food options too. The only negative encounter that we had was with an elderly waiter who was rude and pressurised us into buying drinks at the meal. His customer service skills were abrupt and he came across as being rude. However, all other staff were fantastic and the hotel itself was great. The kids Animation Team for the children was also brilliant. "

"We had a great time in our villa which was in a group of villas slightly apart from the main hotel with our own pool. we didn't realise when booking but we could use all of the hotel amenities including all of their pools and restaurants. The villa was about a minute from the gorgeous beach and a minute in the other direction was a lovely cove for snorkelling. Beautiful place and very friendly staff everywhere in the hotel, from reception to the shops, bars and restaurants."

"The rooms are newly refurbished so very nice. The hotel is tailored for the French so all entertainment, music, children's club is in French and French themed. The staff were in the main unfriendly and food choice basic. "

"Rooms are basic but they are all you need considering the surrounding area. The Included buffet breakfast was great value and provided a good range of food, a great option to have a quick and easy breakfast before seeing the island. The dinner at the hotel was more ordinary and the included wines on tap were terrible (sorry to say). Maybe the dinner is more for families, everything else about the hotel was great. Staff were all very welcoming and nice, especially Roman at the front desk. will stay again!"

"What an incredibly beautiful hotel!! The staff would go above and beyond. The hotel room was stunning and smelt amazing… in fact the entire hotel smells amazing! Bars and restaurants in walking distance. Breakfast buffet had great options and you could order eggs and crepes too. We had a lovely long weekend and can’t wait to return again sometime. "

"A lovely quiet adults only hotel. Beautiful room that was kept immaculately clean. We didn’t have a chance to use the swimming pool area or restaurant outside of breakfast time, but it looked clean and inviting. Our room was in the main block, we did note that had we been over the road in the rooms facing onto the road it wouldn’t have been as nice - the balconies for those rooms face right onto the road. Breakfast great with a huge selection of food and drink choices. Whilst parking is free there is literally room for about 4/5 cars just round the corner from the hotel, we weren’t ever able to use those spaces but there is a quiet side street just behind the hotel that we used. Wouldn’t recommend Cala D’Or at all (super surprised to find it was not at all like we expected, really poor dining options, overcrowded beaches, full of kids fair rides and bouncy castles) but this hotel is a perfect choice if you are needing to be in the area. "
