"Palacio del Sol is about a mile from downtown Nafplio-- so you'll likely be driving into town for dinner, etc-- BUT it's EASY to park and drive... much easier than I would imagine staying in the old town to be. Lovely little pool too. "

"We stayed in the top floor suite. No lift in the hotel but we knew that. We also knew there were going to be lots of stairs from the town center to the hotel. If you take a cab or car they can drop you off at a parking lot with fewer stairs. We really liked the location and the feel of the room. We had a balcony and kitchen in the top suite. The shower was fine but not as nice as the rest of the room. We would definitely stay here again. The stairs in the hotel are not friendly for large...

"Excellent property & great location! Reception staff appeared to have too much to do, maybe have more than 1 staff on duty at busy times. Breakfast at Wild Duck was superb & staff were extremely responsive & assisted in getting us out for an early tour! Bathroom lighting could be redesigned to be brighter & more functional.
