"It is a lovely area and the two towns of Nevada city and grass Valley are so fun to visit. The three people that we met at the check-in desk were so kind and full of great idea ideas of where to eat in the area and how to get to the evening Christmas market. This is definitely a dog lovers hotel. Unfortunately, our room although spacious reeked of dog smells."

"Rooms were clean. Sofa bed mattress needs replacement. Queen beds were exceptionally comfortable!! Rooms were well equipped with towels and bedding - suite was cozy and my family loved being downtown! Hot breakfast was good, but facility lacked sufficient help to manage to keep up with the front desk, preparing food and keeping coffee pot full. "Property location was excellent. The property itself is a bit dated though. The rooms are big, clean, and well stocked with amenities. Great place for families (I went solo). My only gripes are that the tv system was down for two days during my three day stay and proximity of the parking spots, if not immediately outside the hotel, were a bit of a walk if bringing a lot of items with you. "Had a great stay! Customer service was exceptional as was the comfort of the room and bed. The restaurant was delicious and so was the surprise of banana muffins in the morning. Parking was a nightmare on a holiday Friday night and there were a few minor things overlooked by housekeeping but nothing too major to deter from the overall pleasurable experience. "
