Place was clean and very nice. Very comfortable space. The complaint I have is they obviously changed the breakfast that all the reviews raved about. It was not good. Stale pastries and hard boiled eggs that had a weird taste to them.

This hotel was quite a surprise. Wonderful, modern, beautifully appointed with all the nice touches. The breakfast was wonderful, and we really enjoyed the covered & enclosed front porch for having breakfast outdoors. It was so nice that we are already discussing reasons to return to the area, just so we can stay there again! I should also mention that the cost surprisingly moderate for such a fine establishment. A splendid time is guaranteed for all!!

Having lived in Elkins for many years, I remember this as a rundown building covered in ivy and kudzu. More of an eyesore than the beautiful representation of the history this wonderful town possesses. I came back for a couple of days for my daughter's wedding. I was stunned when I entered the building. That continued up the elevator, down the hall, and into the room. I had a wonderful, much needed, night of sleep after hours of decorating the reception hall. The continental breakfast was fantastic, and included fresh fruit and freshly baked muffins along with a variety of cereals, bagels, etc. The staff greeted me and offered their assistance with the same kindness you will find throughout the town. I highly recommend staying in this hotel to add to your experience while visiting Elkins and all of the amazing places in the surrounding areas.
