"I loved this resort! 1. The food was great for resort food 2. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. 3. We always felt safe even at night 4. The resort was full of monkeys, iguanas, macaws, birds 5. Lots of entertainment for kids The only downside was the beach. Don’t go here For the beach. It’s pretty and the view is great but the locals bug you to get massages as soon as you step foot on the sand and the current is strong I would go back and recommend this place every time. "

"This is the sixth time we have stayed at Condovac. If you are looking for an economical place to stay in a stunning location this may be a property worth considering. The all-inclusive food is healthy Costa Rican-style fare (if you want a more North American buffet, you'd be better off at the Riu). The beach is amazing and we often snorkel at the south end. We always feel safe in Playa Hermosa and appreciate that it's only a half-hour drive from the airport in Liberia."

"First and foremost, the staff were absolutely fantastic!!! They were ALL so friendly, funny and accommodating. They made the stay so enjoyable. The resort boasts 5 restaurants but based on hotel occupancy they are not all open each night. It does make business sense and I get it. I was just surprised by this when we got there. We traveled with another couple, who booked a different room on the property and had included the beach club ($30/person) and daily maid service, for the same price. We did not realize that was an option when booking so would suggest reaching out about that. "

Definitely recommend!

"We had such an enjoyable experience here since the moment we arrived. The property was beautiful, the food/drinks in the restaurant were so amazing, our massage at the spa was great as well. I love the quick and easy private beach access. We swam in the pool and got to watch the monkeys play above us in the trees for about a hour. Transportation to town was quick and they were very accommodating. We originally had an excursion booked through trip advisor and decided to cancel it and book the same one through the hotel for about $100 more and we were so glad we did! It was basically a private tour and our tour guide was absolutely amazing."
