"PRO : have been staying here for the past 3+ years every time we come to Peoria area and neighboring city and the staff have been courteous , friendly and Gil , the manager , is wonderful ; the renovated room does not have carpets and the bed is comfortable ; basic toiletries ; breakfast is offered at a certain time - nothing fancy ; well lit parking lot ; close to a lot of stores / restaurants ; close to Bradley university ; has more pros than cons so we always come back and stay here CON(s) : usually there is only 3 pillows in a queen room ; the hallway carpets has its days ; no elevator ( but it is only 2 story ) ; walls are not that thick so voices/sounds can be heard if it is loud"

"This property is affiliated with the casino across the parking lot. The restaurants that the hotel says are part of it are actually in the casino across the way (if you don’t want to walk there - 5 minutes - there is a shuttle). The hotel has a bar that, for some reason, displays a lot of alcohol but serves only coffee. I don’t understand nor have I looked into it. Having said that, it’s affordable, clean with excellent rooms. Pretty quiet also. The staff is friendly and professional. There are 3 places to eat in the casino. I’ve tried only the Tin Lizard, which has a sports bar feel to it though it caters to more than sports folks and gamblers. Lots of locals show up there. The food is tasty with a good variety. I’ve had wings, burgers, chicken breasts, salads. All to my satisfaction. I did see someone else send back a brisket dish - you can’t win them all. The robot food runner is a hoot. But there is a steakhouse for the heavier fare and a deli for the lighter stuff. If you need to shop or want different food there is a sports bar across the street - along with a liquor store. 5 min up the road is a shopping center to take care of whatever you need or replace whatever you forgot. 2 min further is a grocery store and Starbucks. I come to Peoria often and stay at Par-A-Dice frequently. I’ve been pretty happy there. It’s in the right location for me and is the best value I’ve come across. Forgot to mention - the onsite gym is adequate. Gets the job done"
