「My friends and I had a great three nights at the King's Head. The accommodation was good with a sizable and clean room. The breakfast was great with a lot of variety. We ate in the restaurant twice during our stay and the menu was varied and quality was good. The hotel bar serves a wide selection of spirits and wine and the beer from the two local breweries was excellent. 」

「Arrive a little before 3.00pm , 2.15pm, no parking in front due to Construction activity. No access into building prior to 3.00pm -door locked and sign hanging on door saying "Gone to Pub" . Place was a building site and about 15miles from Ripon !!」

「Late arrival and early out but was still welcomed by Alice the owner. Breakfast was offered and even provided at an earlier time than normally given, for which I was very grateful. A great cooked breakfast kicked off my morning and soon I was on my way. This was a perfect location to break up a long North to South journey. Very pleasant indeed. Sad that I missed out on what looked like a super Chinese dining experience for an evening meal! And just a few mins of the A1M」

「I found the Old Oak Tree team to be very welcoming. The room size was fantastic as was the breakfast. The pub does evening meals and has a great choice of dishes to suit all palates. Whilst booking a table is definitely recommended as the venue is very popular both locally and further afield for their dishes. I can highly recommend the Old Oak Tree, I will certainly be staying there again. The Old Oak Tree is in the perfect location for exploring North Yorkshire. 」
