"This is a beautiful hotel in a great location, right in the middle of the very long Matemwe beach. We loved everything about the hotel. Our room - a junior suite with a beach view and balcony - was gorgeous and very large. There was a view of the ocean from every room, including the shower, and the room was very clean and comfortable in every way. "The food, the service and the amenities were very good. It is a beautiful property and the staff are so helpful. There was some noise from the construction next door but we didn’t really notice it very much. The company running the diving and snorkeling excursions on the property were very organized and professional. There was entertainment 2 of the 4 nights we stayed. "I am a solo female traveller. Zanzibar House is an excellent property in so many ways. The staff are friendly and helpful. The grounds are a delight to be in, with lots of comfortable places to sit and read or contemplate the beauty of the area. I did not use the pool and I am sure it would be lovely. At night time I had an evening meal which was tasty and they accommodated my dietary requirements very well. I am gluten intolerant. I recommend this hotel if you like quiet and beauty filled...

"What an experience. One of the more quieter and nicer all inclusive resorts on Zanzabar. 1/2 board though, but breakfast and dinner were ample buffets.
