Not the best area to the east and the noise from the Amtrak trains is loud. Breakfast needs improvement. "

"We have been going to Lafayette park for years now . They have begun renovations on the room and the updated room we recently stayed in we loved. The pool is small and they let people buy day passes which is not great for people staying at the hotel. In summer it is packed with kids and that’s no fun when you’re trying to have a romantic getaway ! We love LPH but the pool should not be for public only guest .
