I booked a room and selected the 3 meals, full board. Due to a glitch on the website, the meals option were dropped and I found out that during check-in. I tried to add the meals at the price of when I booked or event at the current price published at the Taj website, but they said that this price is for new reservation only. They offer me a price for the meals which is more expensive than having a new room with the meals. My travel agency were not able to make changes since I already check-in. I ended up eating outside the hotel which I was not planning on doing. I will not stay again due to extortion and greediness.

My son and I got food poisoning while there and we did not get any medical assistance at all! “We do not have a doctor on staff” so we had to pay for a doctor ourselves despite the fact we had only eaten at the resort! The staff were excellent and other than lip service they were instructed to give, the senior management do not understand 5 star service care. We lost 3 days of a 2 week holiday!

Although there was a hiccup at checkin, my stay was amazing! The property is beautiful and it smells so good. Every staff member I encountered was so patient, knowledgeable and willing to help. I would stay here again and again.

My stay in Taj
This is my second visit, the first one was better, this time everything was overused ( towels, pillows smell bad, needs updating. The living area is too small compared with the bedroom.. the restaurants food is the best in Dubai, staff is very friendly, but the reception wasn’t helpful when we asked them to give us 3 hours later check out, they made us beg them for about one hour until they agreed while I did tell them before that my partner is diagnosed with cancer and this is like a therapy getaway but they didn’t understand my situation they wanted to move us to another room and make us a sick person to pack and unpack in a short period . Transportation from- to the airport was made with the hotel because I wanted him to rest.
