"Nice staff"

"Definitely a quirky place to stay. Very much a not-hotel hotel. They took everything you probably don't like about a hotel and made it different. Mostly in a good way. Bright colors in the rooms. Rooms with character. "European quilts on the beds which are comfy and cozy, but we found they tended to slide onto the floor while sleeping. Has a very "keep Portland weird" vibe. We did notice that sound carried easily in the hotel, so not as quiet as it could be. Very little outside noise...

"Always is a pleasure to stay there make my family feel like home more because my kids needs hospital visits so for us is make us a little less stressed and enjoy our day like vacation and no like hospital painfully visit "

"Staff were excellent! Nathaniel, Director of food service, was so much fun and so customer focused! He was helping out everywhere! The manager at the front desk was also great but I didn't get his name. Really- all staff were excellent. They seem to really enjoy their work! Beautiful historic hotel."
