"Best hotel in downtown."

"Except for a glitch in our reservation, everything was wonderful. The glitch was something on their end and we had to wait about 40 minutes to get registered. It would have been nice to have been given a drink while we waited, since it had been a long day. Once we were checked in everything about El Cortez was wonderful. The building is historic and beautiful. The stay was memorable. They have good food, good staff and good gaming tables."

"The only thing i didnt like about it is that we could hear everything from next door, dosnt have a good sound proof and the water in the shower didnt get hot, was luke warm. Everything else was good, room was decent "

"Walls or doors are kind of thin. You can hear people coming and going and it sometimes sounds like someone is coming into your room the noise is so loud. Other than that everything was good. "
