"The stay was great! Very friendly hosts that went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The only thing I'd say is to be sure you plan ahead if you will rely on public transportation, as bus schedules can be limited on weekends/evenings. Additionally, securing a rideshare can be difficult as well due to the remote location. "We spent five nights in this unique hotel with a fascinating history. It is set by the River Lahn in the beautiful spa town of Bad Ems. The facilities such as the thermal pool were superb and we made full use of them. The staff could not have been more helpful, the room was really clean and comfortable and the food excellent. It is unashamedly old-fashioned but is full of character and we had a superb holiday there. Highly recommended!"

"Hotel has a great location and view of the Rhine. Parking was not easy as the hotel only has about ten spots. The man at the front desk told us we could park across the lot in another business's lot for $10.00 cash a day which seemed kind of strange. He said he gives the cash to the other business. We did it and it worked out fine."

"Basic, but great accomodation! Everything was very clean and in nice condition. There are no staff to greet you and many stairs with no lift, but this was not an issue for us (I say it only to make it clear for people reading) There is also a kitchen downstairs to cook your own meals."

"Very nice hotel in a quiet environment. The whole property is nicely decorated. Especially at night the scenery is beautiful. Rooms are clean and spacious. Very good breakfast. I also recommend the restaurant for dinner. Good parking availability. Staff is very friendly. Only minor: the WIFI in my room was unstable. Otherwise: very warmly recommended. I was there for business purpose, but would definitely consider to stay there with the family. Especially kids will love this place too."
