"Older property. Some sections renovated well, others not so much. The staff met were exceptionally professional and polite. Meals were mediocre but breakfast and dinner were included with the room fee. Facilities (bath areas) were not opened during times advertised on some days, they were open when tour groups were at the hotel (my stay was not part of a tour). Not a bad experience but not a great value for the price paid. "

"The hotel is in walking distance to attractions, and watching sunrise is very convenient. The dinner and breakfast buffets are the best during our trip in Taiwan. This hotel has great service. The historic building is old and room is small. It’s ok for short term visitors. "

"Really lovely family run, the family was very friendly and helpful. All the activities and bike rentals etc can be booked at the accommodation. Everything within walking distance. The evenings are really popular and huge crowds turn up for all the street food and outlets. Highly recommended for anyone to experience local culture, fun activities and food."
