"Very nice location and the room was clean. The bed was large and comfortable for a European hotel. The staff is excellent, friendly and attentive and the lobby/bar area was classic. The room was just unusual with a large tub, sink, and shower seperated only by a curtain (no separate room). Overall it was a good experience if a bit overpriced given the room decor and layout. "

"Very close to lots of food and shopping without being right in the middle of the tourist areas. 10-15 minute walk to everything. Rooms are clean & comfortable but American tourists need to be aware they are small. This is typical for most hotels in Europe."

From the moment we entered the lobby, we remembered why we loved HE so much!The hotel is beautiful, elegant and exquisite! The staff is professional and friendly! And the candies, beverages, pastries and snacks that are available all day, are a nice touch! The location is perfect to visit Amsterdam by foot or on public transportation.
